About us
Off The Table is a global campaign coordinated by the UK-based WildFish. The conservation group is working to protect wild fish populations, and the ecosystems on which they depend worldwide.
The campaign aims to raise awareness of the environmentally destructive nature of the open-net pen salmon farming industry, and is calling on the hospitality sector to take farmed salmon off its menus. Off The Table Canada was started by Catherine Collins and Doug Frantz, authors of the book Salmon Wars. The campaign is now operated in partnership with the Atlantic Salmon Foundation and Living Oceans Society. Off the Table campaigns are now active in the UK, Australia, Iceland and Canada.
